Organisation

The Antigua and Barbuda Seventh-day Adventist Co-operative Credit Union Limited was organised on August 29^th, 1998 at a meeting of prospective members, held at the Seventh - day Adventist Church, Nevis Streets, St. John’s, Antigua.

Registrations were processed from (57) fifty- seven individuals present at the meeting and approximately EC$7,000.00 in shares deposited.

At the said organisational meeting (7) seven members were elected to the Board of Directors, (5) five members to the Credit Committee, and (3) three, members to the Supervisory Committee.

The elections were conducted by the Registrar of Co-operatives, Mr. John Jarvis.

The Board Members were as follows:

Dr. George Daniel, Kelvin John, Wanda Kendall, Claude Weaver, Pastor James Gore and Alfred Joseph.

The Credit Union Committee members were as follows:

Anthony Greer, Garfield Browne, Lenny Josiah, Oliver Joseph and Kem Tonge.

The members of the Supervisory Committee were as follows:

Cardinal King, Jo-Ann Scott, and Steve Henry.

The Antigua and Barbuda Seventh - day Adventist Co-operative Credit Union was registered September 12/1998.
